This Vespa 200 Rally has been totally professionally restored and is in perfect body and mechanical condition.
This is an already rare model like all the 200 Rallies, but even more so because only the first ones produced, like this one, had the off button under the saddle (like the first Vespa 98) and didn't have the ignition key on the handlebar . Furthermore the back writing on the first models was written in capital letters!
Registration ASI 62489 from 14-07-2008.
ASI Targa ORO Certificate # 11938 dated 09-09-2008.
The Vespa 200 Rally was produced in 41,275 units from 1972 to 1979 and is the evolution of the Vespa 180 Rally.
Now the ignition is electronic, as the stickers on the side pockets and on the sides of the front mudguard remember well.
The Vespa 200 Rally was sold with the spare tire fixed under the left side bag, protected at the bottom by a plastic cover.
With it, considered by many to be the last true Vespa, all in metal, the diversification between the sports range and the utilitarian range ceases.
